After surrendering 12 goals in their last two games, the Erie Otters looked a lot more confident Saturday night. Jerry Rice Jersey . Andreas Athanasiou poked in a rebound with 7.6 seconds left in the second to get London on the scoreboard. The Knights sliced the Otters lead to 4-2 at the 2:40 mark of the third, as Vladislav Namestnikovs shot trickled past Sadikov. London out-shot the Otters 14-5 in the final 20 minutes. But the Otters held off the Knights the rest of the way. McKegg scored his second short-handed goal, this one into an empty net, with 1:02 left. Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Brampton 4 Niagara 3 (OT); Guelph 5 Sarnia 4; Mississauga 5 Belleville 3; Sudbury 8 Plymouth 4; Saginaw 5 Sault Ste. Marie 2; Peterborough 5 Barrie 3; and Owen Sound 4 Kitchener 0. At Erie, Pa., McKegg also had an assist for Erie (2-3-0). Namestnikov had the other goal for London (2-2-0). ------ Battalion 4 IceDogs 3 (OT) At Niagara, Ont., Sean Jones goal 1:14 into overtime lifted Brampton to a victory over the IceDogs. Michael Santini scored twice for the Battalion (3-1-0), while Spencer Abraham had the other goal. Mitchell Theoret, Freddie Hamilton and Steven Shipley provided the offence for Niagara (2-2-1). ------ Storm 5 Sting 4 At Sarnia, Ont., Taylor Beck had back-to-back goals, including the winner, and added an assist as Guelph handed the Sting their first loss of the season. Peter Holland, Mathew Sisca and Tyler Carroll rounded out the offence for Guelph (3-2-0). Alex Galchenyuk led Sarnia (2-1-1), scoring once and assisting on three others. Brandon Francisco, Nail Yakupov and Tyler Peters also tallied. ------ Majors 5 Bulls 3 At Belleville, Ont., Casey Cizikas scored twice as Mississauga handled the Bulls. Joseph Cramarossa had the eventual winner for the Majors (3-0-0), while Mika Partanen and Brett Flemming also scored. Richard Panik had a pair of goals for Belleville (1-3-0), while Andy Bathgate added a single. ------ Wolves 8 Whalers 4 At Plymouth, Mich., Kristoff Kontos, Mike Lomas and Marcus Foligno scored two goals apiece as the Sudbury sailed past the Whalers. Gregory Jambrosich and Mathew Campagna added the other goals for the Wolves (1-3-0). Stefan Noesen scored twice for Plymouth (1-3-0), while Rickard Rakell and Peter Neal had singles. ------ Spirit 5 Greyhounds 2 At Saginaw, Mich., Josh Shalla scored twice as the Spirit used three power-play goals to drop Sault Ste. Marie. Ivan Telegin had a goal and two assist for Saginaw (4-1-0), while Brandon Saad and Jordan Szwarz rounded out the scoring. David Quesnele and Adam Chapman had markers for the Greyhounds (3-2-0). ------ Petes 5 Colts 3 At Barrie, Ont., Luke Hietkamp and Ryan Spooner had a goal and an assist each to power Peterborough to a victory over the Colts. Lino Martschini, Joey West and Matt Puempel also scored for the Petes (1-4-0). Trent Hawke, John Padulo and Norm Ezekiel responded for Barrie (0-4-0). ------ Attack 4 Rangers 0 At Owen Sound, Ont., Scott Stajcer made 36 saves as the Attack shut down Kitchener. Joey Hishon scored and added two assists for Owen Sound (3-1-0), while Jesse Blacker and Garrett Wilson both had a goal and a helper. Robby Mignardi also scored. Brandon Maxwell stopped 42 shots for Kitchener (3-1-0).                             Sabathia Jersey .
